We are proud to announce that the Campbell County Technical Center will be welcoming three new teachers to our staff this year.

Mr. Ken Koleszar comes to us from Rustburg High School where he has spent the last 16 years teaching Technology Education.  He be teaching a dynamic new course in the division, Manufacturing Technology, also known as MT1.  This course is specifically designed to train and prepare students for careers in the fast paced world of manufacturing.  Students will develop hands on skills while learning the principles of electricity, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, controls, and circuits.  They will get to use technology to program and use items like plotters, 3D printers, plasma cutters and much more. Local employers like BWXT, Abbott Nutrition, LSC Communications, and AMTI are looking for employees with the skills that will be learned in this course.

Mr. Brad Via will enter his first year as our Culinary Instructor.  Mr. Via has a degree in Culinary Arts and brings industry experience having worked at Sodexo, one of the largest Food Service providers in the world. We look forward to him “spicing up” our Culinary Arts Program!

Mrs. Rhonda Scharnus returns to Campbell County Schools as our Nurse Aide Instructor.  Mrs. Scharnus has served Campbell County Schools in the past as a school nurse.  Now she will be sharing her experiences and expertise as an RN with students as they prepare to earn their Certified Nurse Aide license in their course.
